The Beirut-based SIDC , or Nursing Care and Community Development organization, conducted training for journalists this week on controversial and sensitive social issues. There’s also the handling of graphic content in print, on the air and online, notably when social media often beat traditional media to the punch. Viewers have more opportunities–some of them unavoidable–to stumble onto graphic content. This shift demands serious attention from news organizations. That’s compounded by the potential for psychological harm to journalists, whose jobs require them to work, sometimes extensively, with traumatic material. The way people meet their partners has changed dramatically in recent years For more than 50 years, researchers have studied the nature of the networks that link people to each other.
These social networks turn out to have a peculiar property. One obvious type of network links each node with its nearest neighbors, in a pattern like a chess board or chicken wire. Another obvious kind of network links nodes at random. But real social networks are not like either of these. Instead, people are strongly connected to a relatively small group of neighbors and loosely connected to much more distant people.
Moral theories are another tool to help an individual clearly and logically think about an ethical issue, and arrive at a decision that can be rationally defended. More precisely, a moral theory can help us to sharpen our moral vision, it helps us determine whether an action or a rule is ethically right meaning it is required and must be performed and followed , wrong meaning it must not be performed or followed , or permissible meaning it may be, but need not be, performed or followed.
While these approaches differ significantly, all moral theories have two things in common.
Their ethics help them find satisfaction and happiness, even in the most mundane things of everyday life. Even many people happen to be dating several women, even after marriage. But when it is a real factor of life which can turn into a really serious problem.

What is a Code of Ethics? A code of ethics is a collection of principles and practices that a business believes in and aims to live by. A code of business ethics usually doesn’t stand alone, it works in conjunction with a company’s mission statement and more specific policies about conduct to give employees, partners, vendors, and outsiders an idea of what the company stands for and how it’s members should conduct themselves.
The key in distinguishing a code of ethics from these other documents is to hit the right level of specificity. It should address both the particular nuances of the company’s industry as well as its broader goals for social responsibility and should be concrete enough to serve as a guide for employees in a quandary without laying out rules for every situation that could arise.

PREAMBLE. The Board of Directors of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) hereby promulgates, pursuant to Article 2, Section of the Association’s Bylaws, the Revised AAMFT Code of Ethics, effective January 1,
In deontology, an act may be considered right even if the act produces a bad consequence, if it follows the rule that “one should do unto others as they would have done unto them”, and even if the person who does the act lacks virtue and had a bad intention in doing the act. For deontologists, the ends or consequences of people’s actions are not important in and of themselves, and people’s intentions are not important in and of themselves.
Immanuel Kant’s theory of ethics is considered deontological for several different reasons. Kant’s argument that to act in the morally right way, one must act from duty, begins with an argument that the highest good must be both good in itself, and good without qualification. Kant then argues that those things that are usually thought to be good, such as intelligence , perseverance and pleasure , fail to be either intrinsically good or good without qualification. Pleasure, for example, appears to not be good without qualification, because when people take pleasure in watching someone suffer, they make the situation ethically worse.
He concludes that there is only one thing that is truly good: Nothing in the world—indeed nothing even beyond the world—can possibly be conceived which could be called good without qualification except a good will.
